So I looked up sexy in the dictionary and instead found a picture of these Sergio Rossi “Secret” over the knee boots. The combination of the burgundy suede with the black lace up detailing is pure and utter perfection. I love the name but let’s be serious, if you are wearing these boots it will be no secret that you are a sexy vixen and everyone best get out of your way. Please take a look and then promptly wipe the drool from your mouths.
So I was walking through Bergdorf’s last week minding my own business not even intending to look at shoes. I was going to meet someone in Dior (another problem in and of itself). But as I was turning the corner and I saw these boots. I had to do a double take. At this point, there are not many Louboutin booties that surprise me or even entice me. There are the basics which we all know and love but who knew this simple mixture of leather and suede would make my heart skip a beat. There really is nothing left to say at this point but want, need and love!
Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer but summer doesn’t officially end for another 3 weeks and it is still very warm out, at least it is in NYC. So it is the best time to sport what I like to describe as transitional shoes. They have a fall vibe to them but they are still perfect for summer-like temperatures. Madewell’s Octavia sandals are the perfect transitional shoes. My favorite color is the dove grey but the black and wine colors are great too. They are perfect to wear to work and even better with a pair of jeans.
So I don’t want to think about fall but as summer draws to a close it’s inevitable. Everywhere you look there are boots. Don’t get me wrong I love my boots but I am just not ready to let go of summer. Luckily, most shoe designers these days do transitional very well and Aquazzura is basically the master which is why these booties made me do a double take. It doesn’t hurt that they are leopard either. LEOPARD is always a good idea! Photo: Level Shoe District
I have been dying to get a pair of M. Gemi shoes ever since they came on the scene earlier this year with their luxury shoes made in Italy without the luxury price tag. I have just been waiting for the right pair. M. Gemi releases new shoes every week as opposed to doing one full collection each season. So every week I check to see what new shoes they have released. This week the Serata Sandal was released and I decided these were going to be my first pair. Of course, when I go to the website to purchase them and the color that I wanted sold out in what feels like minutes. So I guess I will just have to covet them from afar unless they magically become available in my size.

I don’t know what I love more about these shoes…the croc effect (as you know I am a sucker for skins so this mock effect is right up my alley) or the gold adorned heels. It frankly doesn’t matter because all of these elements come together to create the perfect shoe in my book. Plus they have a chunky heel which means they will be comfy to wear. I had to include pictures of both the front of the shoe and the back because the heel is amazing. I can’t wait to see these in person. In the meantime, these photos will have to do.
I guess I don’t really don’t have to say this but I love Paul Andrew’s shoes. Each collection keeps better and better. Pre-fall shoes are now in stores and there are several that I would love to add to my closet but I really love the Westside sandal. It comes in variety of jewel-tone colors and black of course. Honestly, I would take any color but it is so rare to find a beautiful green shoe so I thought I would include a picture of the emerald-green version. There is really nothing else to say. Take a look for yourself.

I will be the first to admit that it took me a while to warm up to rose gold. However, when I laid my eyes on this Lorraine pump by Nour Jensen I knew I had to have them. There is just one problem…they are only sold at Level Shoe District in Dubai. Yes I will move heaven and earth to get a pair of shoes that I love but flying to Dubai is kind of where I draw the line. Jensen is new on the scene, only launching her line this past spring so I expect that future seasons will be more widely available. In the meantime, I will just swoon from afar.

I love a good wedge which is why this Charlotte Olympia crocodile stamped wedge caught my eye. I am a fan of anything made in crocodile but obviously not the hefty prices that come along with crocodile. Even though these shoes are stamped, they are still luxurious so sign me up. They are available at Net-a-Porter for those of you so inclined to add them to your closet.
When I saw these flat python printed slides from Zara, I knew I had to have them. They are not actual python which I am partial to but the print effect is well done. Plus they are pink and only $36. So frankly, it’s a win-win in my book. I am thinking about also adding some of the other colors to my collection as well.
