So remember that Christian Louboutin sale that wasn’t about a month ago. Well turns it out it is actually on this week. It is still invite only but in the off chance it opens to the public, the details are below. I will keep you posted if it does open up to the public. But, don’t worry all is not lost because the sale will actually begin in all of the boutiques and department stores on Friday. I also noticed that Bergdorfs had already marked some Louboutins last Friday when I did a drive-by of the shoe department. So there are still ways for you to get your Louboutin fix for 30-40% off.

Well the holy grail of sample sales has arrived this week. That’s right, it is time for the Christian Louboutin sample sale. As always, the sale is by invitation only but there is a possibility that it will open to the public later in the week. Security is tight and it is highly unlikely that you will get in without an invitation. If you do dare to try and go without a personal invite, the details are below. In the meantime, check back for updates and additional information on when the sale opens to the public.
So I was walking through Bergdorf’s last week minding my own business not even intending to look at shoes. I was going to meet someone in Dior (another problem in and of itself). But as I was turning the corner and I saw these boots. I had to do a double take. At this point, there are not many Louboutin booties that surprise me or even entice me. There are the basics which we all know and love but who knew this simple mixture of leather and suede would make my heart skip a beat. There really is nothing left to say at this point but want, need and love!
Awhile back Christian Louboutin announced that they were expanding the range of nude shoes offered. This makes total sense given that the women who wear their shoes are an array of colors. Well the expanded collection has finally arrived at Bergdorf Goodman this week. The nudes collection is available in the So Kate, the Ibiza Half d’Orsay and the Pigalle Follies. I for one can’t wait to check them out in person.
Spring has definitely sprung in NYC and I couldn’t be happier. The whole week has been simply beautiful. I just pray that it lasts because I am already thinking about all of the shoes I want to wear. There are so many. If you don’t believe me just take a look at my Pinterest account. Anyways, I thought it would be better to start off with the pumps I would love to break out.

The Oscars are the holy grail of the awards season and every red carpet leading up to the Oscars are basically practice. The Oscars red carpet are all about the dresses which obviously is kind of disappointing for a shoe maven like myself. I found last night to be the night of the matching dress/shoe ensemble. While I know that the matchy match look is a little reminiscent of the proms of yesterday it worked on the Oscar red carpet. Here are a few of my favorites.
Emma Stone delights in an Elie Saab gown with matching Christian Louboutin “Gardnera” peep-toe pumps.
This week’s Wishlist Wednesday pick is Christian Louboutin’s Pensamoi Sandal. It is only fitting since Valentine’s Day is this week and these shoes remind me of a bouquet of flowers. In fact, I would much rather have a pair of these instead of flowers for Valentine’s Day. Hope you enjoy my version of flowers!
I personally think the Grammys’ red carpet was kind of blah this year. Very few people took any real risks and there were few looks that made me go wow unless you include Madonna exposing her booty. When you are Madonna and at this stage in the game, there really is no need for antics like that. Anyways, I digress. There were a few looks that did stand out to me last night.
I loved that Taylor Swift wore hot pink Giuseppe Zanotti wedge sandals with her Elie Saab gown. Her pairing of hot pink sandals with her emerald green dress was as risky as it got last nigh and it was a great youthful look for her. Her red carpet looks have come a long way.
That moment when the perfect pair of grey boots that you have been looking for all season magically show up on the last call sale rack and they are 50% percent off. I searched high and low this season for these Christian Louboutin boots. They appeared to be sold out everywhere so I had given up all hope. So imagine my surprise, when I stumbled into Bergdorfs on Saturday to warm up after what I can only describe now as a misguided trip to Central Park in 15 degree weather to practice taking pics. And yes I went to Bergdorfs to warm up! Don’t judge! Anyways, back to the boots. I decided to swing through the shoe department to take a look around and peruse the sale rack one more time. I first saw the boots in a half size smaller than what I usually wear but decided to try them on anyways since miracles do happen. As I sat down to try them on I spotted the same boots in my actual size. Hello! Of course they were a perfect fit. Shoemiracle! Here is a pic of my lovelies! Can’t wait to wear them!
